Tutorials

Whether you’re a new or existing user, our video tutorials are here to help you get the most out of DATAmaestro. Select a tutorial below to get started.

1. Import your own data

This is the first in a series of tutorials for the data analytics platform DATAmaestro. By following these tips you are sure to save a lot of time and be able to quickly grasp the basics of this powerful data analytics platform. In this first lesson we will cover everything you need to get started using DATAmaestro.

2. Prepare your data

In this lesson we will show you how to prepare your data by making a selection of variables, creating different attributes and objects sets.

3. Explore and view your data using a histogram

In this lesson we will cover the basics of exploring and viewing your data using histograms in DATAmaestro. A histogram is a graphical distribution of data and makes it much easier to gain insights into your data range.

4. Explore your data using a dendrogram

The next step in our DATAmaestro data analytics project is a clustering technique called a dendrogram. In this fourth lesson, attributes are arranged into different clusters/groups, according to their correlation, and presented on a tree diagram.

5. Explore and analyse via a scatterplot

In this fifth tutorial we will further analyse the correlation between two attributes that we discovered via a dendrogram in our fourth video. For this we will build a scatterplot, which is used to investigate the possible relationship between the two variables.

6. Further analyse your data by creating a temporal curve

In this sixth tutorial we will further analyse the two attributes that were revealed during the fourth (building a dendrogram) and fifth (creating a scatterplot) tutorial, by creating a temporal curve.
